Description & Requirements

PRODUCTION SHIFT SUPERVISOR

                       

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of safety, quality and production on the assigned team. The Supervisor is responsible for the culture and direct supervision, training and safety of team members on shift, minimizing downtime, meeting production expectation and demands, along with performing production roles, if required. This position requires the flexibility to work various shifts, 40+ hours per week and weekends as required. This role reports directly to the Production Manager.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure a Safe Work environment for all team members and maintain a safe working record, while following all safety protocols
  • Ensure product being made on shift meets all quality standards
  • Lead Team members to achieve KPI’s and goals; Safety, Quality, Production
  • Champion and foster a team culture of Safety, Efficiency, Solution-based, Inclusion and Diversity
  • Assist with Preventive Maintenance program as required
  • Participate in CI and 6S projects and initiatives
  • Completion of shift production and reporting paperwork and data entry
  • Meet wired plant compliance metrics
  • Meet or exceed standard production efficiencies on all production lines
  • Ensure that all employees on Team are properly trained in the areas of safety and quality as well as all job functions
  • Support production as required in order to meet scheduling demands
  • Maintain and build job skills through internal and external training programs

ü  Organizational skills and ability to plan

ü  Adaptability and flexibility to pivot and react to business needs as they arise

ü  Computer skills and knowledge in Office 365 (TEAMS, Word, Excel, Outlook)

Educational Requirements:

v  High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience or Skills:

v 3+ Years of ADS Line Operator or Production Experience

v Leadership / Supervisory experience or have led small teams

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 12 continuous hours
  • Ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods
