The Service Manager is a key member of our truck management team and fulfills a critical role in our operations. This position is responsible for overall accountability for managing a Service department, building and leading a team of Technicians to a productive and motivated environment, ensuring satisfied customers, and promoting our products and truck services.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the annual operational budget for the service department.
  • Employ suitable reporting and tracking systems to oversee and regulate departmental performance.
  • Supervise technicians' daily productivity reports and associated payroll records.
  • Cultivate and sustain positive working relations with customers to foster repeat and referral business.
  • Foster and uphold positive working partnerships with vocational and technical schools to improve personnel recruitment efforts.
  • Create pricing guides and maintenance menus for routine labor operations.
  • Institute and uphold a 72-hour follow-up with customers to validate satisfaction with the service.
  • Manage reporting systems as mandated by general management and corporate personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma.
  • Two years’ service department experience in a commercial dealership environment.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License
