Summary of Position Requirements

The Division Business Analyst will collaborate with operational leaders to build and drive data driven reporting and analysis to drive operational efficiency and revenue growth.  The position is responsible for data mining, developing and delivering analysis, presentations, communications, aimed at assisting leaders with operational goals and initiatives.


  • Lead process of continuous improvement activities by identifying areas of improvement and conducting a root cause analysis that can impact efficiency and improvements to operational outcomes.
  • Manages overall pricing process including providing recommendations that consider an analysis of historical sales trends, current and future market conditions and supply and communicating to across the sales organization
  • Leads/collaborates with Division lines of business to develop a deep understanding of the process, strategies and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that influence top line Revenue growth
  • Provide revenue management functional expertise and leadership to management team and market sales leaders
  • Delivers an objective point of view to complex business and issues based on a deep understanding of data and analytics as well as business principals
  • Regularly translates data and insights into actionable and relevant recommendations by utilizing visualization and/or data analysis tools, presentations and other means to effectively communicate clear and concise recommendations
  • Consolidate, prepare, track, create, maintain and analyze operational data to understand cause-and-effect relationships and identify and share root causes
  • Design visual and written presentations of analytical results, operational data, and forecasts in written for senior division leadership
  • Ensure system and process designs capture and manage data consistently and accurately for reliable analysis
  • Communicate best approaches to building financial and operational models

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Math or equivalent area of study required
  • Two (2) years or more operational experience
  • Two (2) years or more experience homebuilding operations preferred
  • Ability to influence and present recommendations to management
  • Strong quantitative and analytical foundation with the ability to translate data into actionable and relevant insights
  • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive in communicating and presenting complex trends and analysis in a way that is intuitive
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Stay current on cutting edge processes for data mining and analysis
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Teams, Excel and Powerpoint
